Be Happy is a compilation of paintings that are intended to inspire happiness in the viewer. Working in both acrylics and oils, each piece is representational of my understanding of happiness. The gerbera daisy (pictured above), was composed in its simplest form, through the process of adding and subtracting paint until finally I just smiled. My intention is to reduce objects in nature to their simplest form and presenting them in a way that makes the viewer just feel Happy!
