Background with acrylic “wax” look made from Golden High Solid Gel Matte combined with fluid acrylics. It has a really nice texture to it . I am going to add the subject matter and then additional “wax” layers….

Working on some Acrylic Encaustic Recipes…….it will be interesting to see how this works. I hope it has as much dimension as Encaustic Bees wax.

Floorcloths are one of my favorite art pieces to create. If you are not familiar with floorcloths- it is what I call art for the floor. Heavy weight canvas that is primed, painted, sealed and ready to be walked on. Yes, I did say walked on! Here is a recent piece that is in process.
